Question:

Why isnt any sound coming out my subs?

I have a problem and i need some help figuring it out i have a amp and everythings fin all the connections are fine but still no sound.

  1. Possible causes:

    1: Bad Amp

    2: Bad power supply to the Amp.

    3: Bad Ground to the Amp.

    4: Speaker wires are not properly connected to the subs inside the box.

    If you are absolutely sure that everything has been hooked up correctly between the stereo and the amp then there's really nothing else that could be wrong. Even blown speakers will make some noises.


  2. Is this a setup that once worked, but recently stopped?

    Or is it a new installation that has never worked?

    Here's a few things to check based on the assumption that your connections are correct:

    1. Amp is powered on

    2. Head unit's preouts are turned on

    3. Amp is receiving the signal from the preouts
