Why isnt it working?

im 16, 6'0, 168lbs, im trying to lose weight so i picked up jogging, ive been jogging 5 miles a day for the last 4 weeks, only drink water and havent lost any weight since the first few pounds on the first week.

  1. You should measure yourself, maybe your losing inches, not weight. I have that problem too, I try different things, and I wont loose weight...but realized i was losing inches... Also, that might be to much 5 miles a day, everyday..especially at first. Maybe try 5miles, 2 miles, 5miles, 2miles.. And most importantly remember that muscle weighs more than fat! So maybe your turning your fat into muscle.. Good luck...and keep up the good work.
