Question:

Why isnt my algae eater (Hypostomus plecostomus) not eating any Wardley Algae Discs?

and I'm not sure if its eating algae or not.

i just cleaned my tank recently

i had the tank for about 12 years and i just bought the alae fish

i want it to be heal

  1. Get rid of the algae disc's.  Toss in a slice of Zucchini or cukes.  Feed him lettuce and spinach.  He is a veggie eater not a clump of white goo eater.  Chances are he doesn't even know what this stuff is.  Not all veggie eater especially pleco's won't eat these discs.  Really use fresh veggies to supplement his algae eating.

    Remember don't clean the tank too well.  Leave the back wall with some algae.
