I have a COBY DVD-937 5.1-Channel Home Theater System it wont turn on anymore. A few days ago it decided to turn off on its own so we turned it off and back on, it worked fine afterwards. I went to use it the next day and nothing works, and YES it was plugged in and set up according to the book. I've looked inside it to make sure all the wires were snug. My only assumption would be the fuse is blown but i want to make sure its nothing else before i go and aimlessly spend more money on it. I've had it since Christmas and this is the only problem I've had with it. The Manual says to remove the battery pack for 30 minutes and re-insert it to reset it, i don't want to try that because i don't want to risk voiding the warranty in any way even though i may already have due to taking the cover off to see the wires.

  1. There's a battery pack for what? I don't understand that. But as for not turning on, it's either a blown fuse, the power supply is broken, or the power switch is bad. Not much you can do without tearing it apart. Try contacting the company, but sorry to say, Coby is known for ignoring their customers.

  2. because coby is JUNK.   buy something quality
