Why isnt ryan lonie playing? in the afl.?

You may have forgotten to mention his TWIN brother at Port Power, (formely Hawthorn ) Nathan, is also not playing in the AFL .  These two young men recently lost their father to cancer,   AFL footballers are actually HUMAN,have feelings , and hurt like all of us !  Could that be a reason ?

yes well done,  funny human,   he is paying in the afl, he has been named emergency on a few occasions,  he is a young bloke who has played in two grand finals, is a beautiful kick,  malthouse has thrown him on the scrap heap,  he should of let Ryan know he wouldn't be needed so he could continue his career elsewhere,  check out his you tube clip, good song too, 'the offspring' 'cant get my head around you.

when i watch that it makes me wonder why they don't put an experienced player in the side, winger or half back,  can run and deliver properly.  Go Lonie Ranger.

Lonie is a good player, but compared to the talent we have now on the field - I think he falls a little short.

(So sorry Romper, i mean that in the nicest way!!!).

I do agree that if he isnt going to be needed at Collingwood they should let him know so he can move on.

Is he playing in the Collingwood reserves?  Probably doesnt help him if he is coz they are the going pretty bad atm..lol

Lonie could be injured, but I think he just hasn't been fit enough to make the team. They'll only use him if it's an absolute emergency. I don't see him making a comeback for a while...

not good enough for the good midfield or backline. Will stay in the magoos for a while
