Why isnt the sound working on my computer at all?!?!?!?

it wont work on my earphones, and it wont work on my speakers

ok i had things wrong too.  ok first try to see if they are plugged in.  second try to turn them up.  third try to go to the bottom right part of the screen open the little icons and find a speaker and turn it up or turn it off mute.  and last try to see if you are not deaf lol jk i hope i helped
