Why isnt the sound working on my toshiba laptop??

okay so every time i try to listen to music on my my space or something it doesn't work but i do hear sound from my aim and like the computer but the music and youtube videos i cant hear

why is that???

make sure the volume is up on the applications you use, that is, youtube has a volume control as well as itunes; these may be turned down or off.  Also make sure your drivers are up to date.

Ok, youtube, and certain MP3 widget/plugins on myspace use the flash player plugin, consider trying to update this via the official flash player website, a google search will provide you with the installer, this ought to solve your problem.
