Why isn`t there a cutoff age for people in government to retire ?

For instance - McCain is too old to take on being President . The average person holding a job is looking for the day to retire or are forced to retire . Our politicians are very greedy in holding on to jobs meant for the younger generation that need to work and have families to support .

  2. I wonder if the people who claim to believe that McCain is "too old to be President" also believe that John Paul Stevens, who is older than McCain, is "too old to be a Supreme Court Justice."

  5. I suppose they ought to just run a classified ad in the newspaper to fill the job.  

    Wanted -- young person with family who is currently unemployed and needing work -- Who gets to do the job interviews?
