Why isnt there a £30 or £40 note?

Surely with the £5 & £10 notes being pretty worthless these days, having a £30 or £40 note would make sense

  2. £20 & £10 give you thirty and that's only two notes. Likewise two twenties give you the £40. Then you got £50 notes, why do you want in between?
