Why isnt there sound in my digital camera after i take video?

Well my camera is a sony cybershot dsc-t20 that i got for christmas. it was working fine a few minutes ago, when i was just singing to my camera for youtube. i checked the video out and it was only that without sound. is the mic like busted or something? what should i do?

Well you have a few options:

1. If you are handy with electronics, then I would suggest taking it apart and checking the mic solder points. The Sony Cybershot series is one of the more simplistically constructed cameras (I know because I am a professional camera technician).

2. Dish out a hundred or so dollars and have a technician like me fix it for you (not recommended).

3. Buy a new camera, which most of the time is cheaper than getting it repaired.

4. Take your hand off the mic opening while recording. Not saying that you are unintelligent, it happens to the best of us.
