Why it's not that common for Egyptian girls to get married to non-Egyptians?

is it due to traditions?or it's something else?

Why it's not that common for Egyptian girls to get married to non-Egyptians?

1st:  We don't get to meet them all the time, if not at all for most Egyptian girls, if you're talking about foreigners - not my case though.

2nd: We can't get married to a non-muslim (if girls are muslims)

For me, I have lots of Canadian and German friends and it's okay for me and my family to marry one of them, if they proposed and if they're muslims.

And I agree with Nona btw.

I think the reasons for this is :

1- Religion.

2- Traditions.

Concerning Religion:

My opinion is , Why the Egyptian girl can't marry non-Egyptian, and in the other hand Any Egyptian guy can marry a non-Egyptian girl.

Concerning traditions:

Why families don't like to see a new different non-Egyptian person in their family?

i think because egyptian girls don't work to have a life of their own,,,they depend on the man,so,they put that in mind since then get 10 years old,,and something like study how to deal with it b,,how to control,,,etc.foreign men are lucky,,,hahaha.

I think it's because the parents feel that a non-Egyptian man won't respect her and value her as much as an Egyptian man would. Many are afraid of possible failure in the marriage due to the difference in culture, many are afraid he will end up cheating or divorcing her.

they got married to the Muslim Arab rich guys all the time,

and also may be because marriage of Egyptian girls are stick to marriage to Muslim foreigners only.

if the family is muslim, then the girl will most likely be married to A RICH MUSLIM MAN

if the family is coptic then the girl will  most likley marry to a RICH COPTIC MAN  

and  to inform you, intermingling with other culturs was actually far far far more practiced in the past than now,,,, take my family  for example, my mothers family is from all over the middle east and europe.

though i should say men in Egypt r great n every thing but f4 me i'd try n marry a foreign guy cause even if the egyptian is soo cute i still don't share the same interests as amr diab (singer) el 7dary(football player) . am more of a west girl though am a full Egyptian but yet the prob is u can't find Muslims that r not Egyptians or Arabs it's tough so that's my answer to ur Q.

I don't know either my parents want me to get married to someone egyptian and honestly I've been to egypt not that many pretty girls only like once in a while you will find someone really pretty. I live in america so I doubt im gunna marr someone from egypt. One more thing it's ok to marry your cousins over there which is really disgusting in my opinion plus u gunna get retarted babies.
