  1. because the little bugger keeps trying to get away

  2. it is so hard to swat a fly because u scar it when you move quickly and it moves alot

  3. Not really to answer your question, but if you DO have to swat a fly.. bear in mind that flies take off vertically.

So if you clap your hands, quickly, a few inches ABOVE the fly, it will see you coming, take off, and fly right into your hands.

    Sad, but true.

  4. the trick is to hit as they land or when they walk as the eyes look all around it & if you try to get it while it see's you the downward blow of air pushes it out of the way as it take off so use something that is latticed

  5. Because we move to slow and they move so fast. When trying to hit one you have to put your body in a way the fly can not see your shadow. When getting ready to aim and move swiftly. i get them every time.

  6. It's not.  You have to be patient and let them tire out.  When they do, let them land and slowly approach then smack them quickly.

  7. Not that hard if u have a can of Raid :D

  8. I just read an article on that.

Its hard because their brains are wired to avoid a swatter. The trick is to swat in the direction that they are taking off to.
