  1. your mind is built upon what you encounter in your life

  2. It seems to me the ego is not just an entity, rather made up of many entities or many ego's.  Imagine how it would be to live among very few people your entire life.  Our ego's are formed through the lives of these people.  Maybe this explains why many are narrow-minded and will not allow the possibility that other people have something extraordinary to offer.

The child ego stays with us throughout our lives and is a by-product of our environment.  If we can find the happy part of this ego it will allow us to play always.

The teenage/young adult ego learns many lessons which will be carried throughout the adult life along with the child ego.

An adult ego is probably the most yin and yang of all the ego's.  We try to fit in with society and carrying the other ego's with us during this tumultuous time.

The elderly ego begins to let go of the adult ego because of the realization that life is really simply a race to the end.  It is time to slow down and enjoy without constant worry.  The child ego comes back during this time.  Looking back and wanting to be the child again.  Some of us reach this earlier than others.

The ego's will always be tainted in some way, shape or form and some worse than others.  These are the ego's that are poisonous and create barriers that serve no good purpose.

    Peace.

    Excellent deep question!

  4. I would assume because whoever said that might have suggested that the ego manifests when it first encounters others. ...but if you think about it, it would of had to exist beforehand for it to have been put into play.Without the human ego, I am curious if we would even exist.

  5. ...agree...ego is my perspective in the order of life working hand in hand with motivation to accomplish my goals...
