Why it it such a big deal what you wear on the first day of school?

Why does everyone dress up? Its just school. I'm not a huge fan of school so why would I dress up for it?

for a good first impression even though odds are no one is going to remember what you had on the first day. i forgot what i had on the first day for last year lol i am just happy that ii got nice new clothes so im gonna show them off

People dont neccesarily "dress up". It's just fun to start off a new year with a great outfit

Although I am getting REALLY sick of all the "Do you like my first day of school outfit?" or "what should I wear?" questions. It's old

Lol it seems like a big deal at the time but its really a big deal. They want to impress people like boys, new friends...

I'm not sureee. but i do. I think people just do it so everyone can see your new clothes and you get into your "groups" like typed of peoplee. like the popular people wear hollister, abercrombie, and american eagle. But i think it's just for like a first impression.

I totally agree. Ignore that "first impression" nonsense.

I don't remember what I wore. And I can't remember what anyone else wore either. Even if you had asked me that same week I wouldn't know.
