Why it says jurisdication over the case?

why it says jurisdication over the case? i got a I 785 interview letter for next month... but today i got a tranfer letter that my case is transferd to antoher MO due to jurisdication over the case... what does that mean?

plz explain and help me out

  1. when a case is filed in court, there are rules to be considered as to jurisdiction and in accordance with Rules of Court. If the court scrutinized your case and finds it not falling under their jurisdiction, they advices you to transfer it to another trial court.


  2. Jurisdiction refers to what court has the legal authority to handle the case.  I have no clue what an I 785 or a MO is(are?), but it appears someone decided the case had been given to someone that could not legally handle the case.

  3. You're getting transferred to a different jurisdiction maybe because of a conflict of interest... or the case is too publicly known in your area... That's about it.
