  1. its something with weather patterns we had hot weather in Uk recently and it has suddenly

turned cool because the cool wind had came from the arctic the winter in the Uk last year was so mild temperatures in some parts of the Uk ranging from 7 degrees to 11 degrees maybe even 13 degrees the summer we had last year wasn't even a summer it was wet and the summer that never was there was floods in some parts of the Uk April last year in the Uk was hot temperatures in some parts of the Uk reached 27 degrees this year april was cold

May was a hot month temperatures in some parts on the Uk also reached 27 degrees like they did last year in April

  2. It depends on the distance of the earth from the sun. The earth moves in an elliptical -egg shaped orbit and it is inclined itself. So the areas near the sun face scorching heat in summer and when the earth is far from the sun, then you experience severe cold.

  3. Changes in weather patterns where these don't happen as quickly as they might have on other ocassions.    This does NOT indicated global warming/climate change.

It is the natural ebb and flow with a few variances tossed in to keep you on your toes....

  4. The earth maintains a constant tilt while orbiting the sun.  In the winter the north pole tilts away from the sun and receives little solar energy (the arctic circle is dark 24 hours a day).  In the summer the north pole tilts toward the sun and receives solar energy 24 hours a day.  Our local weather (very hot or very cold) often depends upon large masses of air reaching us from the south (hot) or north (cold).  Local solar energy also affects the weather.  The prevailing winds on earth are necessary to move hot air from the equator to the north pole.

  5. Dear friend, As has been rightly pointed out by some the earth is farther from the sun and hence less solar energy is recieved per sqm from the sun to heat the surface of earth and also since the earth tilts away from the sun this caises the surface to recive heat energy in inclined manner which leads to again spreating of the heat on a broader surface.

Thats y the winters are cold.

While in summer season the reverse happens.
