Why just pick on these three, not just pick on them but seeming trying to destroy,people..So there accussed of defruading Betfair..Think few trainers could be accussed of that,Dunlop had horse once beat 45 lengths at Kempton, won next time out...Gamesmanship there all at it but wont take on the Dunlops and Stoutes of the racing world...So if changing the nature of racing is the objective three Jockeys should not be the lambs to the slaughter..Dont think they are that guilty of anything much.. J Francome,in his book he mentions various scams he did as well as trainers, hes the Face of racing on TV its thier in black and white..As for all you puratanical snitches ,shame on you...Great to see the Longchamp card to day with all the Jockeys riding.EH

  1. what are you going on about mate, how can you blame the trainers, and say the jockeys are innocent, they are the ones riding the horse, when the goalkeepers got tried for throwing matches, do you remember grobbelaar? no one accused his manager. the trainer doesnt ride the horse. the jockey is guilty. full stop. remember the saying, "you can take a horse to water, but you cant make it drink" german shout

loanshark, what are you on about, if it was anyone else other than falon in the arc today, they would not have been scrutinised as much, everyone saw he did nothing wrong, even channon who stood to get first. your biased and anti or stupid, falon was scrutinised so much, just to prove a point. end of. no one else would have been for that manouver.

  2. you are very wrong my friend.these jocks,if proven guilty will have betrayed the trust placed in them and committed fraud.if they are guilty, and at least 1 is in my opinion then they should go to jail and be in disgrace for the rest of their dishonourable lives.

  3. so your saying its ok for jokeys to throw races tell that to the punters who lost money on the races they threw.

  4. I agree with Second Suspect, the way the horse is ridden down to the jockey.

You also have to accept that horses are not machines and will occasionally throw in a bad race.  There are so many things to take into account for the horse - the going, the atmosphere (some horses can't handle the big occasions) and their experience.  Some horses are also downright pigheaded and if the jockey tries to get into a battle of wills with him, the horse will always beat him.

We are not subject to all the evidence, so lets just watch the trial and see what comes out.

All I will say is that if Fallon is innocent, why did he switch his license from Britain to Ireland shortly before he was charged?  He obviously knew this was coming.

  5. they are not accused of defrauding Betfair as Betfair is just a go between.   They are accused of defrauding members of the public, using the Betfair facility, who are entitled to rely on Betfair's integrity and the maintenance of a fair game.

  6. the jockeys take orders from the trainers.......if you ride my horse bad...

you won't get another ride, unless i told you to give the horse a

shady ride......even the great bill shoemaker misjudged the finish

in the kentucky derby, only to be beaten by a horse owned by

his mounts owner's brother.....cheats or no cheats......i love the game......

  7. Hmmmm maybe thats why he wasn't disqualified in the Arc today. French fair play!! Anyone else, according to the rules, would have been disqualified!!

AND I am firmly on the side of horsemanspals comments. I also recal a current top trainer nowadays, who back in the 70's was not so big, a certain Australian / South African (memory fading) jockey, champion in his country, did not ride to instructions in a minimal race at Newbury, was vociferously told in the unsaddling enclosure that he would never ride for that trainer again, and he didn't. "ce'st la vie" John Gorton..
