  1. Temptation I guess. Plus there is always the time when it goes over accidentally. If our children throws something over it is not played with the rest of the day. This hasn't happened for a very long time, probably since the first couple of weeks of school.

  2. because they like to be mischevious...

  3. hey it's science - if I throw this over the fence, where will it go?  they are learning gravity!  Kids just like to throw things over other things - it's what they do.   Do you go get it for them each time?  Tell them, well it's gone for the day and they will stop doing it.

  4. Did you tell them not to?  My kids don't throw things over the fence, because it's no big deal if they do, nobody cares, and it's a pain to have to go around to get things.

I guarantee it would become the BEST GAME EVER if I said to stop doing that, or they sensed that it annoyed me...

They're great kids, but they are kids, after all...

  5. Including grammar?  ;-)

Do you go and get what they throw over the fence if they do it on purpose or do you explain that "it's gone and we can't use it any more."  The way you handle it will determine how much they do it.  In return, that tells us they do it to either get out of the fence area to get it themselves or so you will go do it.

  6. Cuz it fun

  7. just don't pick it up cuz after a while they will get tired of throwing stuff over the fence and getting it

  8. that means that they are bored with what you want them to do most of the time!
