Why limo in Prom?

It's better that a regular car. Plus it's long and you can sit sideways and backwards. Limos look so cool. And you are going to a prom. If you have a boyfriend it would be even better.  I love limos.

WELL,  for 'some' People it's a SPECIAL night and they will NEVER go to a Prom again. ( I was Lucky, I went to 3) Rented a Limo once.

We were 6 couples, all close Friends... it was a Blast....no Driving, able to Drink, Just all around Fun.

NOT so CHEAP to TRY it NOW...$$GAS Prices$$$ Raise the Rental Rates Thru the Roof! (Pardon the Pun...Sunroof)

i just went to prom i didnt rent a limo only bc it was at disney world and we had to take a bus with our school down but there was a chick who did but it didnt make sence bc we stayed at school for about 5mins and left so whatever limos are overrated anyways!

because a limo is "the car" to be in. its kinda traditional to rent a limo for prom, unless you ride in a limo everywhere they're kinda special u know? like how everybody gets a turkey for thanksgiving, tradition

It's a display of status. Back in the day there used to be presentations of teenagers in a ceremony that "introduced" them to society as adults. This tradition was overshadowed by the H.S. prom. So the limo is supposed to display individual status- as well as fancy dresses/tuxes. It also fits that limos have their own drivers which further emphasize higher socio-economic status.

I don't really care for limos- I had one for prom but it was hanging out with friends that mad the whole night worth it.
