Why list member doesn't see his own message?

Some list members post, the post goes to the list, but the original sender doesn't see his own message. He is getting all the other traffic. Is there a setting that governs this?

this is a e-mail setting of that members providers. gmail is good for this. when a member is getting all posts but not their own, this is not a yahoo group issue, it's a personal e-mail provider issue.
