Why lockyer should be the text 5/8?

Question

1.he might not be in omfg awesome form, but he NEVER plays a bad game and you can count on him to play good, even when hes quiet at least hes not losing the game for us.

2.inglis should be on the wing, not at 5/8

3.bird should be in the forwards

4.is there anyone else reliable enough? dont think so!

maybe prince could step up, but i wouldnt risk it, anyways i think its bout time the 2 time golden boot winner gets the reward he deserves?

Yea maby. either way is fine with me. Ingles shoulded b in the havles and Bird should stay in the forwards

well it depends if anasta plays well and nsw wins state of origin quite easily, then it would be only fair and logical to keep him as the 5/8.

He always plays well under pressure and steps his game up for his country and state.

Inglis isn't a 5/8, have no idea wh yBellamy persists with him there moght be a lack of better options but he is better in the three quarter line.

Bird, although a good option, has been playing alot in the backrow and his form there is too good to move him from.

Anasta is c**p.

Moving Thurston out and bringing Prince/Cronk into the Halfback role is the only other sensible option but Lockyer would have to be a better 5/8 then Thurston who hasn'r played there since 2005 GF.

he was the australian captain and 5/8 before the injury.selectors always have faith in him.he always gives more than 100% everytime he donned the green and gold.if he ever get injured during the test,then we got greg bird or inglis to fill the position.if i am one of the selector i would choose one backline and three forward.i would alternate slater and stewart.i would leave kurt gidley out of selection.we have got inglis ,folau and hodges capable of switching to fullback position.if needed to be.as well as our own skipper.a test fullback *** 5/8.as for prince,he is a good player but if thurston is not playing because of injury during training.then i will opted for cooper cronk.he did a wonderful job in the absense of thurston.he is much prepared than prince,who had never played a test yet,.as for cronk with one test and he knows the pressure of playing against the kiwi.
