Why might the Serbs have killed Jill Dando?

If it is them, why Jill Dando? If they're going for someone in the news corporation, why not Trevor MacDonald, or (better still) a politician?

to be honest, i really havent a clue about this because i cant work out, why anyone would devise a plan to kill her simply because she was a presenter, as you say,,,, why not a politician or even a really bit celebrity if you were trying to make a point and if you're making a point, why keep it a secret about whether you killed her because then that defeats the point.

if it was not to make a point, but to shut her up,, then what about exactly, she wasnt a campaigner or politition... its a mystery

she was a figurehead at the time of the conflict with Serbia, she was a face that could be targeted as she had no levels of security. Trevor was not around then. It is what I have thought all along.
