Why mineral water (carbonated) is not produced in aluminium cans?

i would like to know if there is any chemical reaction between aluminium can and minerals in mineral water, or is there any other reason behind it.

  1. Your premise is incorrect; it is available in alumimum cans.


  2. You can get perrier in cans, its just not as popular.
