Why more than unitary elastic supply curve starts from Y axis and less than supply curve starts from X axis?

the more than unitary elastic supply curve can also be shown as a curve tilted more towards X axis but starting from origin. but actually it starts from Y axis and similarly less than unitary starts fronm X axis not from origin. why so?

  1. That's because required reactions rules of price and quantity for such elasticities. But of course you took simplified supply-demand curves. In real life they are a bit different and more complicated.
