Why most of people prefer to go on roadtrip? What's the advantages of roadtrip?

I want to ask your opinion about roadtrip in general. distance is not important at all.

I have experience road trip with my friends and we really enjoy it because where your in a roadtrip you will witness how beautiful the nature would be and unlike planetrip you cannot see whats happening below your way of transporting so it is better to have roadtrip than planetrip (_THANK YOU FOR ASKING_)

I've been on many road trips.  I am from Texas and have taken a road trip with my family to New York.  Once to West Virginia and then all the way to Key West.  Once to Seattle and back.  And once all the way to Alberta, Canada, down to Tijuana, Mexico and back to Texas (yes in one trip)!  So, I would say that I am well experienced when it comes to taking road trips.  The thing that I like most about taking road trips is the peaceful drives in the middle of nowhere to fighting traffic and laughing in New York City.  Every place in the US has a different way of driving and it is quite fun.  When taking a road trip you can plan out everything in advance or kinda plan as you go stopping and seeing things along the way that you would not be able to see from and airplane.  You really get to experience the cultures and beauty of each city, road, state, and land that you drive through.  It is an amazing and majestic experience.  Some places you can see for miles and miles and are only lit by the billions of stars shining clear in the sky.  A road trip is an entirely new pace of life and traveling.  It is a truly remarkable and memorable experience.  There are no time limits, you are not rushed, you just take each mile at a time and enjoy life and the moment that you are in.  Some of my favorite road trip memories and favorite places are Glacier Montana, Grand Tetons in Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park,Devils Tower, Key West, New York City, Los Vegas, Grand Canyon, and many many more!  There are many options on a roadtrip as well.  If you are considering taking a roadtrip, I highly reccomend it.  It is a journey that no one should miss out on.  You can expereice many things including major cities and wide open spaces. You can travel to more places within one vacation and see the world alot easier.  Nothing beats a good roadtrip and the memories that you will have from it.

Independence.

by driving you get to know the place better, if your hungry you can go eat, if you want to see the museum, you can go for it.

the plane isn't going to stop and land just  so you can see a landmark

and  plus there isn't a bunch of people you don't know, usually it's you and your family or friends
