  1. ur question is based on a false assumption. most things in the world are not round

  2. round things are round because that is the shape where the energy requirement is lowest....

Water drops...fluid objects falling are all actually round.....the shape get distorted due to gravity.....

when things get round they get into an optimum energy conservation.....

To say in common mans language...uts easier to get that shape.....like being lazy...

  3. dunno..maybe beacause the person who made them (who knows who that is??)) was too lazy to add sides and corners..??? goodluck..

  4. they need to spin if they wernt spherical they wouldn't do so

  5. obviously because of unlimited gravity for sun and moon but for zero we can say that round is the easiest shape than other thats why it innovates first and so that most of the shapes are round in the world.

  6. Gravity....

  7. have u counted all the circles and spheres?...they are far too less than squares, rectangles, triangles ,polygons!

either u cant see them or u can onlu see circles!

    LOL!

  8. scientifically speaking the planets sun, moon are round in shape because of their huge gravity, which helps them in attaining an alomost round shape. and as for your zero and sphere, its just wat humans designed looking at the celestial bodies.

  9. Think of the universe as a big fat couch potato. Real lazy. Taking the line of least resistance. Everything it does is based on getting to a lower energy state.

A circle or sphere is a representation of that low energy state because the boundries are all equi-distant from the center.

Whoever invented the zero obviously knew this. (The history of zero is quite interesting - you should look it up)

That is why most (natural) things are spherical (or close to it). If they are not perfectly spherical (or round), it's because an outside force (typically gravity) is working on it.

Also, anything with an edge is just daring nature to wear that edge down.  So while some things may not start out rounded, given time, they'll get that way.

  10. I don't know. Maybe the lazy guy who made it was just tired and fell asleep. The pencil or pen or marker just rolled on the paper and he liked what he saw. Hahaha...

But in all seriousness, most things in the world are clean-cut and shaped with corners, which would make them square or rectangular. Most things in the world are based off of edges and lines because they'll stand structured without the worry of collapsing during a natural disaster such as an earthquake.

    There you go! :]
