Why most of women around the world have names finishing wiht letter "A"?

im the only one of out my female siblings whose name ends with the letter A..

the others ends with..R, E and R..but one uses a shortened version of her middle name and that ends with I

well i don't know  my name ends with an "A" but lots of other people do i don't really have a very good explanation but i think is because "A" is a common letter for an ending of a name i'm not sure though

I seriously doubt it is most around the world, but there are probably quite a few.  In Spanish (am possibly other languages) "a" is considered to be a feminized word.  You will probably find more men with names ending in "o".

I can't think of names that end in A...I feel that more end in Y,

Jenny, Amy, Cindy, Abby, the list goes on and on...

I thought most women's names ended in -ie or y.

Oh, around the world. I don't know...

Interesting - the most common name for men in the world is Muhammad. I didn't find one for the most popular female name in the world - just the US.
