Why my briggs and stratton classic lawnmower is not working after i put a new oil

coz it emit white smoke before so i decided to clean it put a new oil?

You have tilted the mower towards the sparg plug end while draiining the old oil..You have got oil in the cylinder between the piston and the heads..Take the spark plug out and clean it..while the plug is out pull the starter cord 5 or 6 tims and this will blow the excess oil out of the cylinder and head area..put the cleaned plug back in and start it up..it will smoke some more untill it burns all the oil out of the cylinder..sometimes you can get so much oil in the cylinder by titlting it towards the plug that the cord will not even pull at all..same solution to this problem too..pulll the plug and pull the starter rope several times..it will spit all the excess oil out of the hole the spark plug goes into
