Why my car cd player keep shuting on and off some places i go it will do that an wont work then other places?

i go it will work. could it be the reomte wire. the radio wont work unless the car is started. if i try to turn it on with the car off the radio will keep turning on and off like it do while im driving

pull the cd player out, you might have a loose wire, like a ground.

Pull the radio and recheck the wire connectors and make sure that they are making a good connections and check to make sure that both power leads are going to the correct power supply.
