Why my computer can't read any portable device?

Question

Lately my pc is not able to access my mp3 player or digital camera. It can actually tell me what files are in these devices but it wont open them or will not let me drag and drop them to a differente location. I thought it was a USB problem or that something was wrong with my mp3 player but I tried to access it from a different computer and it work just fine. I think is related to a setting on my system but I don't know what is it. Help will be greatly appreciated

I know some USB ports don't have enough power, and others do.  As a last resort, you may have to upgrade your computer with a USB card for a PCI slot.
