Question:

Why my eTickets shows different dates then my itinerary???

I have a singapore airlines tickets from LA to Hyd India, I booked it from Travel agent. He sent me an itinerary (virtually there) which shows my traveling dates as I asked him to book, but when I go for eTicket then it shows me different dates!!!

What does that mean??? I contacted Singapore airlines those people could not able to answer this question and suggested me to go to travel agent and ask him to resolve the issue. When I ask my travel agent he said my tickets are booked and valid for the dates as I requested!!!

I am confused, guys just tell me if any of you have experience the same issue or have an idea what is going on….

  1. If your E-ticket has the correct dates (the dates you wanted to fly) it will prevail any printed itinerary.

    If the ticket has not the dates intended, you better go to the travel agent and have him/her make the change quick.

    Nothing is wrong, except you have a jerk of a travel agent.


  2. You shold be in a big trouble I will suggest to try to go to SIA office in LAX or to the airport to have the Itinerary in a paper like the flight ticket to see the date that has the airline. If is the same that the Travel Agency rest but if is diferent show the ta reservation that you did to the airline agent and he will tell you to go to the agency again, go there and show what you got. If you wait to the last day you can be in a big trouble and found some surprises at the check in counter. If the date has pased they are going to tell you that you just lost your flight and if is latter you will need to paid the diference of the ticket for that day to board the plane and thrust me a same day international flight ticket it is not a cheap one.
