  1. grey smoke, black smoke blue smoke?

  2. Off the top because you said starting, valve guides ....

  3. It's depending on the smoke color :

    - If it's a white smoke, then the trouble is came from the combustion chamber. the engine oil from the crank or the cylinder head leaked into the combustion chamber and burned. it would create a white smoke and it's not good for your engine. there are some possibilities : the piston and piston ring is worn out, or the valve seal and the valve guide is bleed. so, check these if your bike engine's giving white smokes.

    - if it's the black smoke, it's because the combustion is not perfect. the gasoline isn't burned all, will burned in the muffler and creating black smokes. the main problem is the air - fuel mixture in the carburetor is too rich. so check the air - fuel ratio using the AFR meter. the ideal value is 12,5 : 1.

  4. i think it's cause you put oil in the gas.
