  1. its winter ae fish go down the bottom for more heat

  2. I need more details like the size of the tank, the number and sizes of the fish (and kinds), the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate numbers as well as the pH. With out these things I cannot give you a good answer.

  3. Yes, that's how fish sleep or rest......

  4. welll at least he is'nt resting on top ;>

  5. your fish need a better current a buble blower and power filter will do the job so they are encouraged to swim. i would not get a snail because one they reproduce by themselves one day you can wake up and find a black wall across your tank because it can have 2 to 4 hundred babies evry time. and if you have aquarium salt it will kill them because it gets rid of there slime coat. i would get a dwarf pleco if not you can have a normal pleco grow 2 feet long. or you could get a algae eating fish but the pleco is much cooler it has a sucer that it sticks onto stuff with. i think i am your best answer

  6. this is normal, at least for my fish, fish do sleep although they can't close thier eyes so they are probably just resting.

  7. my fish do that. they're either sleeping(like mine) or like my female, who just hides and rest all day (she pregnant know wonder)
