Why my kawasaki when i take off it seem like cloudy smoke little bit grey?

i have this jetski for like 4 years it's a 2004 kawasaki stx 900 never changed anythin other then spark plugs and grease etc but i done a lots of ski towing etc , i also want to make it faster any idea? and how do i stop the smoke when it come to a take off
