Why my keyboard malfunctioning?

my keyboard malfunctioning?( i'm using monitor keyboard now...)

and i buy a new keyboard just now because my current keyboard are malfunctioning.. but i cant believe that my new keyboard also malfunctioning when i plug..(it is usb keyboard).. computer it cant recognise the device that i plug in... how can i solve this problem?(as i know...no driver is needed for a keyboard) can somebody help me please?

Depending on the keyboard - it may need drivers. Some of the multimedia keyboards require the drivers in order to use all of the functions from the keyboard.

The first thing I would do is check the manufacturer's website and see if there is a set of drivers for that particular keyboard. If there is I would be sure I installed them.
