Why my mouse double clicks?

my left clicks just double clicks now. I've tried scanning the comp but nothing shows.

Also try checking the mouse clicks speed.

Start>Control panel>Mouse> Change the double click speed..

Your settings have changed due to some reason. To sort it out:

If you're on XP:

>> Open any folder.

>> Go to Tools menu> Folder Options.

>> Under the General tab and Click items as follows... section, select Double click to open an item.

>> Hit apply and then ok.
