Why my parents are so strict??

my parents are so strict to me they don't even let me go to theater with my friends even shopping with my friends and if i just do a little wrong i can't use anything they so strict to me i don't know why what should i do????????????????????????????????????

You should be grateful that you have parents who love you.  So few parents nowadays take the trouble to be proper parents and look out for their child's best interest.  Consider yourself lucky.  Ever time your parents say "no, you can't do that", they do so for a reason.  When you're grown up and have kids of your own, you'll understand.

Maybe they're trying to protect you cause they're a little smarter than you are... maybe they're being overprotective. I guess it would depend on your age.

If you're over the age of 13, you should be able to go to the mall with your friends. Sounds like your parents are just overprotective/psycho and think that you're going to be kidnapped and impregnated. Either you put up with it, show them that they can trust you, or rebel.

how old are you? i went through the same thing. i missed out on the high school experience. now that i am in college they don't care what i do.

Well it can be tough because you can't do exactly what you want to do, but all I can say is listen to them and work with them. They do that because they care and don't want anything to happen to you.

Another thing is to talk to them. Ask them why they are so strict and what you can do to make them trust you more. Don't get mad at them, just ask. Try to talk it out and understand where they are coming from.

The next thing is to figure out what your parents allow you to do and what you like, and then trying to do that.

The key to getting parents off your back is to turn around and face them.

How old are you girl?  Parents know best for children.  sometimes talk to them that you want to go out with friends. Make a deal what time you will be coming home. And promise is a promise.
