Why my question about the veil was reported?

My question was, if women with veil get more respect than women without a veil.

I can't imagine why it got reported---there's nothing in that question that offensive. I suspect the answer lies in where the woman is.  Women with a veil probably get more respect in nations where the veil is customary.  Many faiths cover their hair--some Christians, Jews and Islamic adherents, but the veil is exclusively Islamic.  It's possible it is looked on with suspicion in some nations, particularly if it hides the eyes.

i remember the question, who gets more respect women wear veil or women wear like tramps.  you were stating women who don't wear veil or cover their head as tramps.  next time post appropriate questions.  glad it was deleted. bye

I don't think that's a bad question. I would think that someone out there would be able to answer this. I don't know the answer but don't see how it would offend anyone.
