I have 2 500w 6x9 speakers, then installed an amp 800w. The mp3 player directed to RCA input of the amplifier. When the mp3 player reach the volume from 26 and at the end 31, the sound start to distort. Why is it like that? There is something wrong with the installation of the amplifier?

Another question. What is the purpose of high input? What is the thing to connect to the high input?

I have a friend has also the same speakers 2 500w 6x9. But he installed 1200w of an amplifier, but it never distorted. What’s wrong with my installation?

I hope this will be answered. Thanks
