Why my turtle isn't eating any food?

There are plenty of reasons your turtle won't eat. The water may not be the correct temp. It may not have appropriate lighting. It may be sick. You may not be feeding it the right food.

Without any information on the turtle, its habitat, or its food, I (or anyone else) can't really give an answer. I would suggest doing some additional research (care sheets) and/or asking the same question on a turtle forum. There, additional discourse will be easier, and you will be able to get the answers you need from people who've raised turtles for years. I've cited a few forums and a care sheet to help you get started. Please do this quickly, for your turtle's sake.

Just a guess. You have had it for less than a couple of weeks and it isn't comfortable in its new digs yet. If this persists, try feeding it small live earthworms. Don't drop them into the water. Put them in at some distance from the turtle.

ljlemer is right. It really depends on the type of turtle. Still, If he isn't eating, and usually does, he could be sick. Check out some websites around the web, and pop in to see your local vet.

My turtle did that...

We even tried live food! The one thing my turtle DID eat was the fish chiclid pellets, lol.

Try them. You can get them at any good pet shop or aquarium store.

You have to provide MUCH more information before anyone can answer that question. What kind of turtle? How old? How long have you had him? How long hasn't he eaten? What is the temperature in his tank? What have you been feeding him? Have you been exposing him to ultraviolet rays, either from the sun or a sunlamp? Is he alone in the tank? Has his appearance changed? Are his eyes clear? Do bubbles come out his nose? Did anything unusual happen shortly before he stopped eating?

Could be sick? My turtle stopped eating and after many failed attempts at getting her to eat and a few vet trips, she died :'(

it maybe shy like my turtle so go to like a different room and in like 5 min the foods gone if not try again but even longer like 10 min
