  1. Waqamkz obviously has no idea what he's talking about.

Only the Canadian consular officer can answer your question for sure.  But, as their system works somewhat like ours, here are what I see as possible red flags in what you wrote:

    1) It sounds unrealistic for two professional people to be able to take two months off of work, despite whatever certificate you may have brought in.

    2) I have no idea what your salaries are like in Canadian terms, but it's possible that, even if good ones in India, they are not considered solid in a Canadian context.

    3) Is India, or Kerala state, a place where fake documents are common?  Perhaps the officer didn't have confidence in your paperwork.

    4) Perhaps your district is one that has produced a lot of illegal immigrants to Canada -- perhaps the officer was burned by a number of people in circumstances similar to yours, and didn't want to take a chance.

    5) Last, the issuance of visitors' visas is by nature and necessity generally totally subjective -- maybe he or she just didn't feel like issuing a visa that day.

Why not just go on holiday somewhere else -- enjoy yourselves in Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur -- everyone needs a holiday!  Plus, having other international travel makes you a better visa candidate to countries like the U.S., Canada, etc.

    Good luck.

  2. :-( Am sorry to say and something i really hate, but the fact is that they don't give visa to most people form India, Pakistan or other asian and african countries. They think we'll ruin their country.
