Why my vista ie7 jumps to other webpages which I did not click?

Do you have Pop-up Blocker turned on?  Go to Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Turn on Pop-up Blocker.  If it's not a pop-up problem maybe you could explain the problem a little more thoroughly.  I would guess that you may have spyware.  May I suggest running a spyware removal program like AdAware or Spybot?  These can be downloaded free from www.download.com

I would suggest using Firefox; it's an extremely fast and free browser that is many times more secure than IE. It works great and I've never had the problems that I would get with IE. Try it and see if your problems are fixed.

Sounds like you have spyware or adware.  Maybe popups? Try a popup blocker.

Also, many websites will switch to an ad before showing you the actual website so you just have to wait till it lets you skip the ad.

Some websites will open different pages, it all depends on how people set it up.
