Why no Republican National Convention on TV today?

The Republicans cut way back on the program because of the hurricane. We'll see how the schedule goes tomorrow.

I believe it has been on all day on CNN and CSpan.

Due to hurricane Gustav the GOP convention decided to cut the ceremonies way back today.  In doing so more attention could be focused on the hurricane hit areas and events.

The Hurricane, took center stage.  Thus showing once again, this is bigger than any one man or woman.  Behold, the powers of the Lord.
