Why no mail order husbands?

It seems from my (scant) research on mail order brides that there are several agencies offering mail order brides, but none (no serious ones at least) offering mail order husbands. What would women look for in a mail order husband?

Men search for mail order brides to find a subservient woman.

Those men are mainly looking because they are unable to "control" a real woman! Or get them to go out with them for that matter! So by going after girls who are looking to better their lives they feel they have power!

As for the, where are the mail order males? Everywhere! look around. Pick any one you have a slight interest in and say "I am a woman who needs a man to come home and serve all my desires" They will say "Yes, what ever you say" and will follow you!

You already know that! Women have the power to control every non weasel of a man out there...and you do not have to look as hard as even a good man must look  just to get a date!!!!!

Well lets see....I would look for compaionship with in a person if I had to look for a husband through any type of mail orders. But I have never heard of that so I wont look for any type of mail-order husbands.

women in very desperate situations are mail order brides. they are used to being powerless and their lives are so difficult that they cannot possibly survive on their own.  Men can come from brutal situations, but almost always have more access to education and jobs than their female counterparts and are thus not as desperate.  So they woudn't be quick to apply.  Still, some would for the opportunity to come to the US, Canada, UK, etc. but would you want one of them?

How can you be sure you won't get someone totally abusive who kills you and takes over everything since he's your spouse?  Really not worth the risk, and the people who market these marriages know it.
