Why no media coverage?

MI5 have said that dissedent Republicans pose a bigger threat than Al-Queda. Last month two Police officers were injured in a landmine attack. Why is this recieving so little media coverage?

Please provide some sort of link to this information because there isn't any mention of it on the MI5 website.

What are "dissident Republicans" and how would they pose a threat to the UK?  What does this have to do with the injuries to two police officers?

Perhaps it is the vagueness of the allegations.

EDIT:  My apologies.  Sometimes I forget that there are an increasing number of people from the UK on here and they sometimes have completely different issues.  I try to be informed but had not heard of the renewed effort to wreck the peace process in Northern Ireland.

The simple truth is that these people are just mindless thugs and criminals!!!!

It does not need media coverage which would give the thugs a clue to what the police might be doing.  So lets keep the news out of it and allow them to keep there false sense of security and the police to get on with catching them and putting them in the place where they belong!!!
