Why no one knows when the egyptians book of dead or the hebrew Bible was invented?i need help!?

  1. Short answer: for books that go so far back into antiquity, it can be hard to gauge exactly how old they are or their authorship. (They were written, by the way, not invented.) And they were laboriously hand-copied; there's no copyright date inside to tell you what year they were written. Instead, scholars look at the people and events mentioned - a particular king or war, for example. They would love to see the originals, which is why it was such a big deal when the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.

    Also, "Seventy" brings up a good point. You are probably referring to the books of the Old Testament. She is talking about the books of the New Testament, which were indeed written in about the time span she mentions. I thought, because you said Hebrew Bible, you meant the Old Testament. I believe that much of the New Testament was written in Greek rather than Aramaic. Am sure a Bible scholar can clarify that point.

  3. The bible was written about 3/400 years after the crucifixion....i.e.....3/400 AD
