Why no period when coming off pill?

I have been taking the pill for 10 years with breaks in between, but every time I stop taking the pill my periods stop. I don't get anything why is this??

because your body has become dependent on the pill. you can't just stop it has the be gradual

Your body is so used to being on a schedule that when you stop taking the pill it doesn't know what to do, but you will get it.

Due to the fact the pill changes and reduces your Hormone level. So it takes a few for your body to get back to normal because of the constant change in hormones that the pill changed.

any longer dan 7 months and no period go to your docter. i was in the same position and got a blood test and turned out to have an underactive thyroid gland
