Why nobody plays handball in this country??

I LIVE IN HOUSTON, TX AND I USED TO PALY HANDBALL IN A TEAM , IN ARGENTINA BUT WHEN I GOT HERE, I FOUND OUT THAT MOST POPULAR GAMES (SPORTS) ARE BASEBALL FOR BOYS AND SOCCER OR VOLLEYBALL FOR THE GIRLS, WHY IS THAT ?? I WANT TO START PLAYING FOR A TEAM BUT I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START FROM.

Huh? I live in NYC and wherever there's a hand ball court, ppl are playing it.

The thing is handball is rather taxing as it is practically soccer with the hands this does not leave much room for an agressive tackle or out of the ordinary action which Americans Like to see.

Once again, learning a lesson that Americans tend to shy away from sports in which they do not do well in international competition.

There are handball teams in various places around the country, but there are a lot of variety and options when it comes to sports in the USA.
