Why not bring Tasmania into the AFL??

Question

They've produced plenty of quality players, yet the AFL are still gonna go with a 2nd QLD and NSW team. I'm sure they could get plenty of sponsors, who agrees or disagrees?

They should put a team in Tassie because all the relatives would go to watch their players play - & everyone knows all Tassies are related to each other.

The state is too small and AFL players wouldn't want to go there. Its too isolated for AFL players to want to live there.

There just isn't enough money in Tassie. The AFL would have to be the sponsor, because money just ain't there. I guess Hawthorn does what they can down there with 2 or 3 matches. I guess that is life. I believe this is the same reason that Darwin doesn't have its own side, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

The Hawks are pretty much a Tassie team cause Aurora stadium is their home ground... well ever since Waverley Park got knocked down! So that might be why Tassie hasn't got a team already

If Tasmania had a team in the AFL it would need to be propped up for ever.

There is money in the two regions of NSW & Qld that the AFL is lobbying to have teams installed.

There is no comparison.

i think that tassie should have an afl team....................they do produce quality players............the only problem i think they will have is getting numbers to games in tassie becasue of the small amount of people living there............it would have to mean that that people would have to fly there most weeks and that adds up
