Why not force the federal government, to repay?

Repay all the raiding they have done on our Social Security, tax the federal gov. they sure can afford it with all there increases in pay. We should have a trust in our government, that if they take our money , they have to put it back, With interest What do you think?

The Politicians seem to think they have a blank check and OUR future funds are theirs to do as they please. I am demanding they pay back every dime before one more penny goes into Iraq or Africa. Enough is enough.

Sorry to say this ,but you need a better education.We are our government, the government of the USA is not like other governments in the world. We can force ourselves to repay ourselves anytime we want but we won't because as a group were very stupid.

So, if we tax the federal government, then we tax ourselves because that is where most of the money comes from.

The federal government has no money. They make no money. If it were not for the income taxes, capital gains taxes, excise taxes, corporate taxes and every other tax it collects from the American people, they would have $0 dollars.

So, for the federal government to pay Social Security back, it would have to raise our taxes.

This is a fundamental point I think many people do not understand. Sadly, our young people are not being taught in school.

WITHOUT COLLECTING A TAX OF SOME KIND, THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS $0.00 DOLLARS. ALL OF IT'S MONEY (ALL $3.SOMETHING TRILLION) THAT IT BLOWS EVERY YEAR COMES FROM A TAX PAYER OF SOME KIND.
